Introducing Ingrid Mulder
Kia ora! My name is Ingrid, and I am the new Programme Manager at Taste Success. My role is to support facilitators as they join and work in our fun and dynamic team. I am super excited to get going with this role and learn more about you all.
I came from England to NZ in 2018 and have extended my stay here partly due to COVID-19 but mostly because of the gorgeous country and people. I intend to stay here to continue working and studying in the field of nutrition.
I am currently a Masters student at Otago University studying Advanced Nutrition Practice. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Plant Biotechnology. So, I would consider myself pretty passionate about nutrition! My main interests lie around public health interventions in micronutrient deficiencies, and climate-friendly diets.
I got into nutrition from having a fascination with plants. I studied their inner biochemistry but found myself more interested in the mechanics of plant-based nutrients in the human body. In later years, I took great interest in sustainable food systems and the way our diets could impact the state of the world we live in. Food is a huge part of our own and the planet’s well-being. I am sure you can all agree and share the same passion for healthy eating and living as I do.
In this role, I am most looking forward to meeting and learning from like-minded people. Taste Success holds an impressive standard of supporting healthy living and I am thrilled to be a part of it.
See you soon, Ingrid.
